I know I say this with every age, but I think this age is my favorite. Your little personality is coming out in the sweetest and funniest ways. You've always been happy, but your laughter is contagious and fills me up in ways I didn't know were possible. As I write this on my phone, I'm chasing you around the apartment while you crawl and pull up on nearly everything. The world is so exciting to you and your little perspective has changed everything for me. Life has so much more meaning than it ever did before you were born. Your dad and I do things with so much more intention than we ever did, and that's absolutely because of you. You have pushed us to work harder, be more creative, and prioritize our time so that you are getting the best of us and we are getting the best of each other. This week everything will change for us. We are transitioning back into me working from home and I'm genuinely excited. The past couple days we've spent our mornings at the park with our friends and family. Amd while I've been getting tons of work done in the afternoon, mornings like these have forced us to slow down and helped me to present and a little more focused with you.  I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to be with you and do work I love. It's really the best of both worlds.

Let's talk about ten month old Owen because there are a few things I hope I never forget about this little boy in front of me. Your hair is getting so long and it's starting to curl at the ends and is just about the cutest thing. You are still extra chunky and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't have to clean out your neck rolls. Haha! You have six teeth and are eating an insane amount of food. We are constantly impressed with how much you're able to consume, and we have yet to find a food you don't like. You also love water. Seems silly, but just like eating, I think you enjoy drinking without our help. Seeing you drink from a straw is by far one of our favorite things to watch. You're saying dada, mama on occasion, nana (banana) and duga duga duga which we have no idea what you're trying to say there but we love it just as much as the rest. You hate harsh loud noises like tape being pulled from a roll, other kids crying, or anything overly abrupt. That being said you fell asleep at a concert in the park last night so you aren't overly sensitive to sound. Hah! You like to make us laugh and when you do it makes you laugh which in return makes us laugh again and on and on. There's a lot of laughter happening and I'm all about it. You get so excited when your dad gets home from work - your face lights up and if you're on the floor you're speed crawling his way. You're definitely a mamas boy, but there's no doubt you love your dad. All in all you're just so much fun right now. We have our harder days, but most days I'm just so stoked I get to hang out with you all day. You're my new best friend.
